Rebecca Tinsdale is born to a wealthy family that eventually breaks up and teaches her first lesson on life, nothing lasts forever. Rebecca is not an optimist, but she’s also definitely not a pessimist. Seeing her parents divorce at a young age didn’t cause her to disbelieve in love, but losing the one man she ever loved, did.

Rebecca is surrounded by people who love and adore her and as long as no one speaks of romance, she’s happy. She’s a devoted daughter, sister, and niece, and even though she’s been in a steady relationship for about seven years, she knows it isn’t love and has no intention of getting married. Of course her intentions account for nothing when her beau goes and asks her to marry him.

Luckily for Rebecca she has a best friend who’s always there to help her keep a grip on reality. Rebecca has a lot to deal with: family drama, friend drama, and now relationship drama, but she handles it all with grace. Turning thirty didn’t get her down in the dumps. What it did do was give her a sense of needing to settle down, not that she was moving that fast. The only problem now is decided who to settle down with.

Character Files from the ToiBox 25: Michael- Bio

Michael is just another human struggling to understand this world of mixed species and supernatural powers, but it all means a little more to him. Michael is the grandson of Leo and grows up to take on his responsibility of looking after the estate and finances of the late Abraham’s beneficiary.

Michael is born and raised in Whittletown and spends much of life tip-toeing the line of two worlds much like Tori does. The main difference between Michael and Tori’s experience growing up, is that Tori is actually apart of dual world while Michael can only see and experience bits and pieces of the world Tori lives in.

It doesn’t take long to learn that Michael adores Tori from a very early age, but she’s young and has so much more on her mind. There is a brief time in their collective youth when Michael, Tori, and Sheldon are able to be great friends and a comfort to one another as they all learn their places in this dual existence.

Lilly is a shadow. She’s there all along, but she easy to forget. Her impact, however, lasts and lasts.

Lilly meets Giovanni and Mira as a little girl, but they don’t learn her story until later in her life when trouble arises. Giovanni and Mira will eventually serve as secret guardians to Lilly, protecting her from the world of the others which she can’t seem to stay away from.

Lilly’s tale, like everyone else in this series is a bit tragic. She was adopted as a baby and raised by an average human family, but like all families, it had its issues. When her parents decide to get a divorce, it was only the first of many struggles she’d have to overcome.

All in all, Lilly actually lives a rather pleasant life. She gets an education, gets married, has a career, and goes on to become a grandmother.
