Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 5.4 (wip)

As she stepped out onto the deck, there stood Giovanni looking taller and grander than he had the day before. He was holding out a steaming mug towards her with a handsomely subtle smirk on his face. “Warm green tea cocoa for you?” he asked, placing the warm mug in her hand. Giovanni tried to shield the warmth of the mug and the touch of his hand with a thin cloth beneath it, but he still managed to send yet another jolt of energy through her body, as he brushed the edge of her finger.

“Green tea cocoa,” Mira inquired with a giggle, “how does that work exactly?”

“Just try it,” replied Giovanni. “It’s very chocolaty and amazingly refreshing and rejuvenating.” Mira took a sip and smiled, it was truly delicious. The steamy chocolate mixture soothed her throat, warmed her tummy, and perked up all her senses.

It’s Like the Full Moon chapter 4 (wip)

Rebecca rushed down to the dining hall where several guest had already taken seats and began their meal. She took her time perusing through the tables taking note of the gentle people sharing her lodging. There were simple people of all types who seemed to have one thing in common, an appreciation for nature and the beauty of history. They were all there for the same tour. Just as Rebecca had settled on a cozy spot in the corner, perfect for people watching, someone called out her name. “Rebecca dear, it’s me Mr. Thornton. Surely you remember me?” asked the jolly old man as he half stood up from his chair and waved her over.

Rebecca wanted to seem cheerful. Mr. Thornton was a very nice man, but if he was there, it was likely that his son was as well. “Oh yes Mr. Thornton,” she called back forcing a smile to her face and trying not to look around suspiciously. “How could I forget you?”

Eternal Curse: Battleground chapter 5.1 (wip)

There are very few things in life that ‘they’ say can happen that you will never completely recover from them, and we were about to experience just such a thing. Mira and I were about to come face to face with a being, not unlike myself, but driven by an evil we hadn’t the comprehension to imagine. Like me, this creature traveled the plane of this world, but it was not of this world. That first encounter was an initiation; it was almost harmless in comparison to what we were to face in our future. We knew sooner or later we’d meet an evil half-breed or an other-realmer, but we didn’t think it would happen within the sacred walls of a church.
