Eternal Curse: Battleground 6.2 (wip)

“I’m twelve years old. I’m just a kid,” he said. “I’m supposed to be opposed to war, it’s called childlike innocence and naiveté; that doesn’t make me a terrorist.” He leaned forward and held out his hand towards me. “I’ve agreed to help you because my sister said you might be able to get me out of here.”

I took his hand and shook it. I was amazed by his reaction, or lack thereof, concerning the exchange of my energy. Clearly he felt it, but he simply looked into my eyes and then shrugged his shoulders. Then I began to explain our situation concerning his release. “It’s already in the works, though it may take some time. While we will do all we can for you, there’s something we need from you right now.” Mira handed him a package as we spoke quickly and quietly.

It’s Like the Full Moon- chapter 5.1 (wip)

“Thats okay Lisa. You were just trying to be a good friend,” said Rebecca. “I told you it was all going to work out, and as for Virgil; just because he doesn’t sweep me off my feet daily, doesn’t mean I can’t love him. I love him for everything else he does.”
“Your right Becca,” said Lisa. “I mean, what do I really know about love. If you love Virgil, then I love Virgil, and I hope you two will be happy together.” Lisa and Rebecca held each other in the full embrace of two loving sisters. Whatever happened in their pasts or futures to come, they’d be there for each other. After a few tears and several laughs, the two friends reentered the dulling down party inside.

Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 6.3 (wip)

Taking a deep breath and feeling jittery on the inside, Mira walked over to the computer, booted it up, and printed out her report. She carefully began to read the report. It was very thorough. Everything was compiled in summary and broken down into detail with charts and graphs. It was all there in front of her, Giovanni’s entire genetic history and make-up. Mira couldn’t believe it. As she stared closely at the document in front of her, Giovanni begin to feel a sensation of relief, along with a little bit of dread. He knew what Mira was feeling; he knew she’d realized that he wasn’t a liar or a fake. She knew that he was truly something unique, so much so that it was, in fact, a little frightening.
