It’s Like the Full Moon- chapter 6.2 (wip)

“Not a problem here,” said Teddy. “I like taking money from people that are willing to give it up.” Teddy took him home and showed him around his luxury cabin. It was two stories, with two bedrooms, and one and a half bathrooms. It had a nice size kitchen and living room with a large storage shed out back to house all of Teddy’s sporting goods. Teddy told Paul about how he was having company come over, that evening, to have dinner and discuss plans for his sister’s wedding. He invited Paul and told him that is wasn’t anything formal and that he’d kick him out if he didn’t agree to stick around and attend. Paul agreed, but mainly because he hadn’t yet gotten a car and couldn’t really go anywhere.

It’s Like the Full Moon- chapter 6.1 (wip)

A few minutes later, a young man carrying a few suitcases in his hands and a camp sack on his back walked into the dinner. He went up to the counter and asked if he could use their phone. The waitress was very nice and sweet as she explained that they didn’t have a phone for customers to use. They had free Wi-Fi, but no telephone up front. Teddy looked over at the young man and could tell that he was terribly upset and in some kind of a bind. He looked at is camp sack and admired his gear.

“Excuse me,” said Teddy walking up behind the young man slowly. “I have a cell phone you can use if you’re having some kind of an emergency. It’s in my car, but I could run out and get it.” The young man’s face lit up.

Review: Ascension

Ascension (Gryphon #4) by Stacey Rourke

I give this book a 5.

LoveIt

This book begins just where the 3rd one left off. Celeste and the whole clan are an absolute hot mess, but they still manage to have a few laughs. The Gryphon has been quite for the whole series, but he’s about to start answering some questions. While the Council can no longer be counted on, The Conduit and her posse will stand strong and save the day, or die trying.

There is so much going on in the story that to try to sum it up would only confuse you and do no justice to this amazing story. Let me go ahead and warn you now that friends and enemies will die in the greatest battle Celeste could have ever imagined. Characters that you thought were gone will return while others you’re hoping will stop by, are officially laid to rest.

This is the most serious and emotional book in this  series, but like I said the laughs are still there, even up to point of making movie references while charging into battle.

This book is just how this series should end. I am happy!

I recommend that if you’re interested in this book, read the other three first, but as long as you have a sense of humor, you’ll be able to find something you like about this story. If you’re anything at all like me, you’ll love it.
