Eternal Curse: Battleground 8.1 (wip)

I was amazed by Mom’s boldness; she was such a natural leader, like Fred. Seeing those two together made me feel safe somehow; knowing they were the good guys made me feel that all the fighting was worth it. I just knew that all the battles would come to an end one day, and all the conflicts would be resolved. Fred explained that he’d been seeking out a special and rear kind of half-breed with powers and capabilities far beyond that of the average. He said he knew of only two other such types and that they were called the Descendants.

It’s Like the Full Moon- chapter 6.2 (wip)

“Not a problem here,” said Teddy. “I like taking money from people that are willing to give it up.” Teddy took him home and showed him around his luxury cabin. It was two stories, with two bedrooms, and one and a half bathrooms. It had a nice size kitchen and living room with a large storage shed out back to house all of Teddy’s sporting goods. Teddy told Paul about how he was having company come over, that evening, to have dinner and discuss plans for his sister’s wedding. He invited Paul and told him that is wasn’t anything formal and that he’d kick him out if he didn’t agree to stick around and attend. Paul agreed, but mainly because he hadn’t yet gotten a car and couldn’t really go anywhere.

Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 7.2 (wip)

Mira knew she had to return home eventually, but this was too soon. She’d hoped to be gone at least a month. She didn’t want to leave like this, in the middle of her progress with Giovanni. She had only just begun to scratch the surface of understanding Giovanni and getting to know him and Abraham better. She was even starting to learn a lot about herself. Mira had reached a point where she just wanted to be a little selfish and tend to her own needs and sense of adventure. Mira wanted to stay and continue her quest for self-fulfillment. She wasn’t ready to leave, but she knew she had to. All she could think was, “How am I to tell Giovanni?”
