Eternal Curse: Battleground 8.2 (wip)

For years, Felix and the demon battled one another, with the demon appearing in a new host body each time. The Demon would come in and out of Felix’s life just to bait him and annoy him. When Felix’s wife’s mortality had reached its end during the final days of the sixteenth century, it was that same demon that came to his side for comfort. The demon preached to Felix about the frailty and weakness of humans, and then spoke of the corrupted grandeur of an eternal life built on the pursuit of power. Felix had no idea of his true power and potential, and thus became a puppet to this villainous possessor. With the demon’s guidance and directive, Felix set out to destroy all others like him, so no one would remain to protect the humans he now looked down upon.

It’s Like the Full Moon- chapter 6.3.# (wip)

Teddy was about fifteen minutes into game and totally focused on beating the boss on a level he’d been stumped on for weeks when the door rang and several loud and rapid pounds crashed against his front door. “Teddy let us in, our hands are full of stuff,” yelled Lisa’s exhausted voice from the other end. “I know you’re probably just in there playing video games, get up,” she shouted once more just as the door was thrust open in front of her.

Teddy stared at the overloaded and unusually simple looking Lisa, and almost began to laugh. She was carry a covered casserole dish in her arms across her chest, with several paper bags in her right hand, and what looked like a jug of wine in the other. Under her right arm was a small box of napkins that were squished in. “Need any help there, Lisa?” asked Teddy smugly.

Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 7.3 (wip)

Mira sprang up from her bed, ran out of her room, and then down the hall and onto the deck, leaving behind her robe and forgetting to close all the doors behind her. Looking down at the garden below, Mira saw it again showered in the moonlight. It was grand, white, and bright. Its wings stretched out wide as it faced the night sky getting ready to take off. The great eagle ascended into the sky and soared around the estate two times, before floating off into the distance with what seemed like great urgency. Mira blinked her eyes as she watched the image disappear over the horizon. Once it was gone, she rushed back to her room and tightly tucked herself under her covers, feeling anxious and confused. Had she received a sign or was she simply dreaming of something magical?
