Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 4.2 (wip)

After lunch, Mira observed Abraham and Giovanni again working together to clear the table and put away the dishes. When they were finished, Giovanni walked Mira into the living room. He told her that he thought the living room would be a better place for them to talk instead of the office or the lab. After all, Giovanni and Mira already knew so much about each other; now they would learn all that had not been revealed before. Giovanni didn’t want it to feel like he was being interviewed or interrogated, even if that’s what was really happening. He wanted it to feel like they were old friends catching up on old times.

WIP Update 09

WIPU

So much has and hasn’t happened since last I wrote. Let’s see…

Not only did I finish all the details of my shorts, I have published them. Legend of the Boy and Unexplained are not available for purchase. You can check out My Books to learn more and to see if and or when I’ll run a promotion for them. So far, I’ve already received one consumer/reader review for Legend of the Boy. You can check My Spotlight if you want to see what was said.

After being ridiculously sick for two weeks straight, struggling to celebrate my birthday, and publishing my two shorts, I have managed to completely ignore my other WIPs, but that’s about to change. Now that things have settled again, I’m going back and looking at what I’ve already put forth for both, Solomon’s Sword and It’s Like the Full Moon, so I can wrap them up and move them along to betas…I may be in need of new betas; any suggestions?

I’ve had some snags in my collaborative project, but such is the case when working with so many people, but things seem to be coming together again. Hopefully the next time I write, I’ll have another publication announcement to make…

And as much as I try not to distract myself, I always seem to do so. A story idea came to me yesterday and I may have to pursue it, but I won’t report on it until I have either a full chapter or a complete outline.

Feeling a little lost about what’s going on in this post? Just see the side panel and search My Topics, WIP Updates, to get all caught up. Also check my WIP tab to see what else I may be working on.

Do you have a WIP update to share?

It’s Like the Full Moon chapter 2.4 (wip)

When she arrived back in the suite the phone was ringing. Rebecca rushed over to pick it up and answer it. “Where in God’s name have you been?” yelled Lisa from the other end.

“I was out looking at stuff, what’s the big deal,” replied Becca annoyed.

“The big deal is,” snapped Lisa, “that you’re all alone in a foreign country that you’ve never been to and you didn’t turn on your cell phone,” she shouted.

Rebecca looked down and opened her purse and there was her cell phone sitting snuggly in its designated pocket in the off position. “Oh my…oh…oh Lisa I’m so sorry. I must have just gotten carried away and forgotten to turn it on. I’m so sorry,” she continued to say apologetically.

“It’s ok,” said Lisa now much calmer. “I’m just glad you’re alright. Not even a full day in Italy and you’re a whole new person ehh” she teased in a questioning cynical tone.
