Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 4.1 (wip)

Mira continued to stare at Giovanni for the moment, but with each passing second, her gaze became more and more gentle and compassionate. Abraham and Giovanni were now setting the table with another place set for their guest to join them for lunch. Mira watched the two friends work together, almost like father and son or big and little brothers. Mira struggled from time to time during this observation not to picture the two friends as a knight in shining armor and his small elf-like comrade. Her imagination was on overload and she didn’t know why. She hadn’t yet decided what exactly the dynamic of their relationship was, but she had an idea that the old man was the one with all the lavish provisions.

Eternal Curse: Giovanni’s Angel chapter 4 (wip)

Mira didn’t know if she was truly terrified or compellingly intrigued. Was this all real or was she just dreaming? Mira slowly began to fade back into reality as she heard a deeply thunderous angelic voice call out to her, “Mira…Mira are you all right?” The sound of that voice calling out her name almost resembled the poetic melody and chorus of a love song. Her eyes opened with a glare in her vision as she began to focus and stare carefully. Finally, with clear wide-open irises, she realized that she had not been dreaming at all. It was all actually happening and he was actually real.

Tea and Conversation 03: Why a series?

teaNtalk

Today I’m sharing a picture of tea leaves from Pinterest.

Today in my meditation on the Eternal Curse, I’m writing about: Why a series?

I did not set out to write a series when I started Eternal Curse, but ideas kept coming into my mind that I just couldn’t find the time to fit into one book. Making the book a series, gave me an opportunity to complete part of the story and continue to develop all the other ideas I had without so much pressure on waiting time, opportunity, buzz, and or inspiration.

The idea of the story came to me in a dream and the first installment of the story seemed to write itself. With pages and pages of notes to sort through, actual thought and planning is going into the development of the other installments. Even though Giovanni’s Angel could stand alone, I like that I’m able to continue the story, allowing the narrator of the first book a chance to tell his or her own story.
