In case you’re interested, here are some highlights from my other blog, the Eternal Curse Series. This is where I talk about that book series, all my inspirations for it, and my geekness ;).

This lovely little blog will be going through a bit of a transition over the next few months, but there shouldn’t be any interruptions in my posts. If anything, there will be more content added. I will be merging this blog with my Eternal Curse Series blog by moving everything over here in one nice manageable location. I understand that with the addition of the content from my other blog that the dynamic of this blog will shift a bit, but I hope those who have been following me will not be turned off by these changes. Thank you to all those who have consistently supported me and I hope you will like the changes that develop.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you like it let me know and share it with others. See you next time, Toi Thomas. #thetoiboxofwords

It’s Like the Full Moon chapter 1.4 (wip)

Just a few short moments later, Lisa and Teddy returned and sat on both sides of Rebecca as she slumped down on the bench outside, now feeling a little chilly. She folded her arms and closed her jacket tighter. She looked back and forth between her brother and her best friend for some words of encouragement or guidance.

“So,” said Lisa as she nudged Rebecca’s side.

“Yeah, ditto,” said Teddy.

“Oh you guys, what am I going to do?” asked Rebecca softly beginning to sob.

Teddy quickly spoke up. “I’m a great brother I know. I can make you laugh, cheer you up, and even take care of you when you’re sick, but advice is not my thing. Do you really want me here right now?”

Rebecca giggled a little. “You are a great brother Teddy. You can go, we’ll talk later.” Teddy swiftly rose from his seat, kissed Rebecca on the cheek, and patted Lisa’s head before darting off inside the cottage.

It’s Like the Full Moon chapter 1 (wip)

“I’d like to talk to you in private. Can we take a walk outside?  The rain has stopped.”

“Sure thing Virg.” Becca stood up from the table and walked with Virgil into the hallway. On the way out, she grabbed a light jacket and her umbrella, for just in case.  They walked side by side silently to the end of the long cobble stone driveway that lead up to the cottage. Shyly Virgil reached out to hold Rebecca’s hand, missing the first time, but then catching her embrace as he swung his arm back and forth while inching closer to her. At the end of the driveway, they stood under a blue-tinted downward facing street lamp. The hue and angle of the light didn’t interfere with the glow of the starry sky above and so they had quite a view to share as they began to chat.
