Margie is a bit skittish. She’s a hunting dog who doesn’t know how to hunt, but she loves a good walk. Living in a shelter with other dogs, she has no idea that she could have a home and a set of humans all to herself. This is the story of how Margie “The Scaredy Dog” Finds a Home.

It’s discussion day (at least it was last Thursday, Hee hee) for the IWSG Book Club. We’re finally gonna get down to business with our quarterly selections. I’m excited to see what people have to say. I personally skipped Fight Like a Girl because I’m taking a break from nonfiction, but I want to read it someday. I enjoyed Spiral of Hooves, though it was a tough read for me, and I look forward to seeing what others thought.

IWSG BOOK CLUB ON GOODREADS

#iwsgbookclub

Today we launch our April Challenge Check-in Poll. It’s an opportunity to share progress and or offer encouragement for challenges you or other people are participating in. We host a monthly themed challenge as well as encourage members to read whatever they like while offering them a chance to update their progress with their Goodreads Challenge or any other reading they may be doing. Click HERE if you’d like to take the poll.

The “What Are You Reading” discussion is going strong. Head on over and let us know what you’ve been reading.

I’m still within the first 3rd with both my current titles Brides of Maracoor and Lulu’s Library. I completed The Invisible Library and hope to complete Lulu for the Libraries challenge. The Invisible Library was actually about a library, whereas Lulu’s Library is a collection of stories, and since reading is part of some of the stories, I’m counting it for this challenge.

Next week, we’ll begin the official discussion for the two spotlight books.
