I’m with you on both those IWSG reads–Takei’s book was far from the first I’ve read on the internment camps, but it was very well done, and deserves a second look, I suspect. I’m still working on Gail Levine’s book, but want to try more of the exercises. Just as soon as I finish drafting this current mess, er, novel.

Yes, I;m still processing my thoughts on Takei’s book. It was clearly good, but it’s difficult for me to express what I experienced while reading it. I too look forward to trying Levine’s exercises.
