I’ve gotten behind on my public reading goals this month as I continue to read and review a series of books in unpublished ARC form. I like being able to help out a young writer discovering the world of editing and rewrites for the first time.

WIP- I’m enjoying this book so far. It’s not a story you have to think too hard about, at least not at the point I’ve reached.

Haven’t started this one yet, but that is intentional. Since this is a short story, I’m putting it off to the last minute. Sometimes it’s nice to read a short standalone.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you like it let me know and share it with others. See you next time, Toi Thomas. #thetoiboxofwords #blacklivesmatter

Being the geek girl that I am, I was right at home with this story. I can see how someone not into heroes and villains might struggle with this, though. I found it lighthearted and enjoyable. I will elaborate more when I write my review.

I’ve read one other book by this author and realize that I need to read more of her stuff. I like the way she takes well-known- overused tropes- and gives them a fresh spin. Even for someone who isn’t into supernatural stories, I think this has a greater appeal. Can’t wait to get my thoughts together for a more thorough review.

I knew this book had a time travel element to it based on reading the description, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. Sometimes it’s nice to read the unexpected. I enjoyed this story and will think about how I want to rate it later on. For now, I’ve already downloaded the next book to see how the overall story ends.

This was a super short read. I enjoyed it but wished there was more to it. If you have time to read this post, you could totally read this ebook (if you’re up for it.)
