It’s been a slow reading month for me, but I’m around the 75% mark of this book. It’s been enlightening, so far, to discover many cultural differences between U.S. and European citizens when it comes to daily life, travel, marriage, and more. Plus, I’m learning about life on a boat. It’s not shocking to discover the many ways in which the U.S. government seems to be designed to hold people down and strip them of their peace of mind. I’m proud to be a U.S. citizen, I just wish the U.S. was more caring of its citizens and its visitors.

Being the one to read multiple books at a time, I too am just around the 75% point with this book. It’s not what I was expecting. I don’t want to say too much right now because I’d rather lay it all out in my review. Plus, it seems there is an update for this book, so I may read that to do a comparison, but I’m not sure. I am very much looking forward to the discussion of this book next week. I’ve seen the questions and they are good.

Almost done with this one; should be completed by the end of the week. Enjoyable. Fun 90s references.

Haven’t started this yet, but will as soon as I complete the upper one. I think I will like it, but I’ll have to read it to be sure.

Amazon.com – not the latest cover

I finished this story early in the month and enjoyed it. It’s a great example of classic sword and sorcery. The Christian themes work well with the plot and come off as cultural rather than persuasive or political. This is simply the world in which this story takes place. I will say more in my review.

WIP- getting close to the end. This book has been a challenge for me to read but I will wait for my review to say more. Still, anyone who’s read any of my other reviews should already know that YA is a genre I struggle with, which is not a reflection of the authors who write in that genre. Sometimes I read YA and enjoy it and sometimes I don’t. I’ll let you know the verdict on this book once I’ve completed it.

In case you missed it, I’m starting a new video interview series on my YouTube channel. Click here if you’d like to learn more.
