It seems that no matter how hard you try, things will never go precisely according to plan, but that’s no reason to give up. I never seem to be able to read as much as I want to, and that’s even considering the fact that I now even listen to audio books. In the end, there are still only so many hours in the day to read, writing, blog, work your day job, eat, sleep, and spend time with that spouse who’s hanging around all the time 😉 .
All in all, I am pleased that read or listened as much as I did. I can’t wait to see how I do next year.

I didn’t make my goal for the first time in a few years and I’m not upset about it. I was so busy. I’m lucky I read as much as I did. How many are you going to place on the list for 2014?
I’m not going to challenge myself by setting a reading goal. Next year I’m setting a writing goal of finishing two novel length books I started, but never finished. Any reading I do during that will be just because.
