Today we launch our March Challenge Check-in Poll. It’s an opportunity to share progress and or offer encouragement for challenges you or other people are participating in. We host a monthly themed challenge as well as encourage members to read whatever they like while offering them a chance to update their progress with their Goodreads Challenge or any other reading they may be doing. The “What Are You Reading” discussion over at Goodreads has been going well. There’s still plenty of this month left for you to stop by and let us know what you are reading.
I’m currently beyond the halfway mark on Spiral of Hooves and In Darkness: The Vampire. Spiral of Hooves is one of two titles I hope to complete for the Horse Crazy challenge. The other title is a short story/novelette. So far I’m on track with my Goodreads challenge. I haven’t taken on any other challenges, but I’ve been wanting to do a picture book or comic/graphic novel challenge for a while. Perhaps I can try one of those in the Spring.
Spiral of Hooves is also one of the quarterly book club spotlight reads by one of the IWSG members. I wasn’t planning on reading the nonfiction selection but there’s plenty of time to change my mind- or not 😉
Next week, we’ll begin to open the discussion threads for people to offer questions for discussion or share progress but the actual discussions aren’t scheduled until April 27, 2023.
