Happy New Year’s Everyone! – 2015

Wikipedia

I would like to invite you to share a good-bye, something you’re grateful for, and a hope or want for the near or far future.

So many people have come and gone into this world in the past year. For me, I personally lost a sister-in-law. She and I weren’t as close as I would have liked, but we were pretty close. She was the first of my in-laws to accept me for who I was, no questions asked. I will miss her greatly.

I’m gratefully for the many blessing I’ve received throughout year, especially during my selfish moments when I was so undeserving of such blessings. I’m grateful to be the person my Lord created me to be, even when other don’t understand me.

Like so many others, I hoe for better heath and a overal improvement of life. Most of all, I hope to be able to remember my blessings and experience more happiness than sadness in the year to come.

Be safe this holiday and be blessed throughout the year.

It’s Christmas Eve! – 2014

Wikipedia

Christmas is a special time of year for so many people. Christians celebrate the birth of Christ. Others, who observe this occasion, spend time with loved ones and spread cheer. I think, also, that many people try extra hard to be a better versions of themselves than they usually are, during this time.

Christmas isn’t just for Christians and I think it’s great. Why wouldn’t I be grateful for any occasion that brings out the best in people? So, to anyone reading this today or some time down the road, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you.

Happy Thanksgiving U.S.A! – 2014

Wikipedia

I sincerely hope all nations have a celebration that’s comparable to our Thanksgiving Day celebration. If we get too caught up in the day-to-day struggle to keep moving forward, it’s nice to know that we can at least set aside one day to just be thankful for whatever little bit it is what we have. Sure there’s historical, political, and for those who choose, even religious ties to this holiday, but it doesn’t have to be that complicated.

Today I’m thankful for:

There is so much to be thankful for in life. Even the things that bother us can most times be turned around and become matters of gratitude. It bothers me that I don’t have a computer that works consistently, but at least I have one. I thank God for every blessing in my life and for the love and patience of those around me who put up with my complaining.

Thank you to everyone who have read, followed, and or supported the ToiBox of Words. Whoever and wherever you are, whether celebrating or not, just know that someone somewhere is likely grateful for you.
