This has been one of those crazy days where, no matter how much you plan, something falls short or goes wrong. Needless to say, I’m still getting back into the swing of things. So…

1. What am I currently reading?

Today I began Legend. Everything else is a work in progress, at least it’s good progress. Also, I’m still reading Life is Difficult, but Also Beautiful.

2. What did I recently finish reading?

Today I finished The Name of the Wind and was eager to start another read, even though I’m still working on others…I know, I may have a problem. I thoroughly enjoyed Name of the Wind and, well, I didn’t hate Chasing the Avatar. In fact, I’m still trying to determine just how I feel about it.

3. What do I think I’ll read next?

While Ascension is still on this list, I’ve added a few others. Wonder which will actually make it on my next, currently reading, list?

1. What are you currently reading?

I did not have a chance to read as much as I thought I would over this holiday, but I did read more than I’ve been able to in a while. I’m so close to finishing Chasing the Avatar and am slowly making my way through Seraphina because, of course, I’ve added more to my current reading list since last I posted.

I started reading: Name of the Wind, Death of the Mad Hatter, and a short- “Life is Difficult, But also Beautiful” (English title) which I received from a book review swap.

2. What did you recently finish reading?

Call of the Herald was a very short read and I can’t decide if that’s a good thing or not. The Guardian’s Apprentice was a good read and I’m still deciding if I want to read more of the series now or wait a while.

3. What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m trying to keep my focus long enough to finish my current reads and finally get to the two books I’ve really been waiting for. 2014 should be a great year for reading.

1. What am I currently reading?

I skipped my post last month so it’s been two months since I’ve had anything to update. It’s been a crazy two months. I somehow forgot I was reading Chasing the Avatar, but have picked it back up again and am enjoying it.

I am very close to finishing the Guardian’s Apprentice. For some reason the audio (computerized voice) kept trying to read this story to me and it was driving me crazy. I didn’t ask for an audio attachment with this book, but I guess some ebooks will read to you whether it’s a professional narration or not.

I found a copy of the Call of the Herold on my computer and can’t remember how it got there. As far as I’m concerned it’s a free book; yay!

…And I finally re-cracked open the papges of Seraphina, but now that I’m in book promo mode, who knows how long it’ll take for me to read it 😉 .

2. What did I recently finish reading?

You’d think that in two months I could have finished more books than this, but like I said, it was a crazy two months. The fact that I finished anything reading related is a minor miracle; between a full-time job, illness, blogging and writing full-time, and family issues, reading was my escape that I didn’t get to take quite as often as I would have liked.

3. What do I think I’ll read next?

I am so excited about the next installment of the Gryphon series. While I have no good reason for it, I’ve put off reading Legend for long enough. I hope it doesn’t take so long for me to get through my current reads that I forget about these.
