A Book Feature & Garden Tale

So, here’s what I’ve had going on the last two days,
over at A Small Gang of Authors.

Yesterday, I put my new children’s book in the spotlight.

Meet Carnie the Bookworm who loves reading books.

and today, I’m sharing part 2 of my Gardens of Good and Evil Series.

Discussing Rappaccini’s Daughter by Nathaniel Hawthorne

I hope you’ll consider popping over to check them out. For those of you in the US, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. For everyone else, please know, that I wish you all the best as well. Like every year, since I started this blog, I’m grateful to all of you who come back from time to time to read my posts, and like and or comment on my posts. It means the world to me.

I’ll be back on December 5 with the monthly IWSG post and a special announcement.

Count Your Blessings 18: Farms

Farms

I adore gardens and to me farms are just big gardens, but of course, they usually also come with livestock.  You can’t feed the people of the world without farms no matter how advanced our technology gets.

There are all kinds of farms, but unfortunately, farmers aren’t giving the credit and respect they’re due anymore. Farming is a lot of hard work and unless you have a specialty product, most governments aren’t willing to pay much for your efforts.  Still, to be able to live off the fruits of your labor, to some, beats working in an office.

I’m blessed to live in a world that’s still in good enough condition that farms are able to sustain themselves, even though it’s not as easy as it used to be.
