About Toi Question of the Month

#Question of the Month: a bloghop to think about. No. 2- 3 things you’d do w/out fear?

A little while ago, Michael D’Agostino, of A Life Examined, brought up the idea of a new blog hop called Question of the Month. He thinks blog readers would like to know a little more about us, the bloggers. So we’re all gathering to show you guys who we are by taking part in the Question of the Month blog hop. On the first Monday of each month, we answer the question that gets posted here.

*In a rush to start my vacation, I posted this a week early. Oops. 🙂 Now let’s see if I remember to come back and participate when everyone posts theirs.*

This month’s question is: What are three things that you’d do tomorrow if you weren’t blocked by fear?

I tried really hard to think of three things, but there aren’t many things I haven’t done because of fear. Most of the things I haven’t done have been due to circumstances and resources or a lack there of.

1. I’d tell certain people what I really think of them.

2. I’d leave my life behind and start over on a farm somewhere. My husband would, of course, be along for move. We’re tight like that.

In the words of Forrest Gump, “That’s all I have to say about that.”

Please check out the other participants in this hop and even join in if you’d like.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you like it let me know and share it with others. See you next time, Toi Thomas. #thetoiboxofwords

Yes, but I must still remember to conduct myself in such a way that doesn’t leave me with regrets.

My grandfather use to have a farm and it was hard work. That’s not exactly what I in mind. I’d like to live on a hobby farm, with some small crops and live stock that aren’t my sole means of income.

Thanks. As far as telling people what I think of them, it’s not so much about “going off” as it is being really honest and telling people things they don’t want to heard about themselves.

Yeah, reall farm life is no joke, but I’m just wanting to get back to nature a bit and control what I’m eating.

If I can learn to refine my spoken words, as I do with written words, maybe I can say what I feel without burning bridges or starting wars.

I would love to see a video of you telling people what you really think of them because it would be epic. I can think of a few people myself 😉 Growing up in Brooklyn I always dreamed of living on a farm.So I feel you on that one.

I thought about making a video, but then decided against it. I don’t want to end up like Shia LaBeouf.

I really enjoy reading all the different responses. I am one of those that if I am aksed for an honest opinion, I will give it. If not, I try not to lie and instead try to not say anything at all. Lie by omission? 😉 For your second one, I would do that in a FLASH! Seriously!!

Sadly, I’ve pretty much been living the “Lie by omission” life for some time.
I dream of a simpler life; not necessariliy easier, just simpler.

Yeah, I get that. The only question is how far is far enough.
