This is a silly and cute holiday that mostly serves as a means to teach children about the seasons and weather. Aside from the fact that a really great movie is derived from this day, I don’t think there’s much else to say about it. So…
Happy Groundhog’s Day and I wonder if Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today?

The groundhogs here won’t see their shadow – it’s raining.
It rained here all day as well. Not sure how’s he’s supposed to see or not see a shadow today.
Not only is there no sun today, but it’s also minus 5C here. Any sensible groundhog will be curled up asleep, not looking for his shadow. On which happy note, my armchair and a glowing log fire await. ZZZZzzzzz.
-5C sounds frightful. Good thing you have that nice log fire.
Oh yeah! With my dog stretched out in front of it and a big mug of hot tea, that’s the life. It snowed last night and we stayed snug. 🙂
