I created an event on Facebook that isn’t actually an event. It’s a question I’ve been wondering about after searching for groups to join. Please take a minute to answer the 3 questions posed. There are no strings attached or hidden agendas. I’d just really like to know what you think…Oh, and feel free to share it anywhere if you’d like. Thanks.

Also, this question will be open for most of the month.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you like it let me know and share it with others. See you next time, Toi Thomas. #thetoiboxofwords

I’m not on Facebook, so I can’t. But I do know the IWSG Facebook group has grown to over 2600 members in less than two years. Does it make a difference in sales? No idea.
Yeah, the IWSG group is wonderful, but its not designed to reach readers. Its there to support authors. I’m speaking of groups that clmain to connect readers and author or readers and books. I believe some work and some don’t, but I want some data on the matter. The question will be open all month.
Generally speaking I think it depends how the Facebook group is moderated and how engaged the members are. I have never been a part of a author/reader group but have joined other groups and have had varying success in them.
Yeah, I think that’s the consensus. It’s all about member involvement.
