So here I am again to torture you all with my bad clue giving skills. I don’t want it to be too easy for you to guess, but I want it to be easier than last time. Let’s see if I can get a handle on this and give some good clues.
Clue #1– This is an award-winning French film that, like so many others, did not do well in U.S. box offices, but has since built up a cult following.
Clue #2– The story is a dark tale of the future that cleverly ties into the fictional past of (the year of the film’s release) 2006 to help explain the mystery that’s being solved in the movie.
Clue #3– This is a black and white film of a different caliber, with some well-known actors lending their talents to this relatively low-budget (for its type) film that has an awesome tagline: Paris 2054. Live forever or die trying.
Do you think you know what my movie is?
I am I still making this way too hard?
I can’t wait to see everyone else’s clues. I hope I guess some right. I’m so looking forward to the actual reviews that will be posted next week. I’m glad we decided to do this again.
Mock Squid Soup – Film Society

Doh… I really feel like I should know but I’m not so good with recent films unless they’re kid-friendly. Daughter was only 3 in 2006. Now I’m going to head over to Wikipedia to see if I can piece it together.
Not sure if 9 years ago is that recent, but I can recall good times 20 years ago, sooo…guess we’re getting old. I can’t wait to share my review next week.
I had to GTS, because I had no hope of knowing this–and I was right. No hope whatsoever. Look forward to the review. It sounds like a cool flick.
I think it is a pretty cool movie and hope to see you next week.
I have no idea! This sounds like quite an interesting film-can’t wait for next Friday
Hope I don’t disappoint. See you next week.
Not the film 12 Monkeys was based upon, so…I’m Googling, too!
I don’t think there’s a connection to the movie 12 Monkeys, but I honestly hadn’t thought about connecting it to other films.
