Personal Update!

If my posts have seemed sporadic, that’s because they have been. My computer crashed on Thanksgiving Day. I was able to borrow a desktop to make some adjustments that day, but since then I’ve been a bit adrift without consistent access to the Internet and all my personal information and logins. I was really disappointed to miss my December IWSG post, but it couldn’t be helped.

I have a “new to me” computer and am steadily working to restore my backed-up files, but of course I’m hitting snags left and right. Then there is also the matter of software licenses that can’t be transferred from one computer to another and of course I don’t have the funds to re-purchase all these programs. All-in-all things could be both better or worse. I’m feeling blessed even if I am a bit overwhelmed.

Unfortunately these turn of events have had major effects I could not have foreseen. There will be some changes and shifts made in my blogging, writing, and other social media activities. Live goes one, just not down the same path.

I do so hope you all will continue to put up with me and whatever adventures that may come my way. Thank you for your time and consideration. Toi Thomas. #thetoiboxofwords

Sorry to hear you’ve had computer troubles. It isn’t until they go wrong that we realise how much we’ve come to depend o the darned things, is it? I hope you’re soon all sorted and back to full flow.

Thank you for your words and concern. I’m slowlly getting back in the grove, but I’ve lost so much. Still, I’m blessed.

Shit happens, Toi, but you’re a toughie and you’ll overcome the difficulties. You always do. Good luck, and I hoe it doesn’t get in the way of a great Christmas with your family.
