It’s Presidents Day – 2015

Wikipedia

What originally started off as a day to remember George Washington and Abraham Lincoln’s  birthdays, has turned into a day a of education and remembrance in the US. I think President’s Day is one of the easiest and most beneficial patriotic celebrations to share with children. If you take the time to really go back and look at the lives of the people who’ve held the office of Present of the United States, you can learn so much about the ups and downs, the rights and wrongs, and the overall changes this nation has grown through.

I say let’s learn from the past. Let’s learn from great, not-so-great, and kinda bad leaders to see what the future may bring.

To the rest of the world, I hope you’re having lovely and peaceful day.
